Faith Russell – Jenks

Tulsa Suburban Players to Watch
Softball

Tessa Malicott – Berryhill
She plays first base and hits in the middle of the lineup.
She was named all district last year as a freshman.

Kyleigh Lamont – Broken Arrow
Kyleigh has been a member of the team for three years.
She hits in the middle of the order and has been a big part of run production.

Kayley Lott – Coweta

She is a junior this year and excels at both catcher and third base. She is very solid
offensively as well. Great work ethic, leadership, and a great all around player.

Kayten Herman – Glenpool
Kayten is a two year starter who can play wherever needed without question.
Offensively, she has power to all fields and has been the lead off hitter the past two seasons.

Emma Vickrey – Jenks
She will be a four year starter behind the plate.
She missed fifteen games due to being quarantined last season and still led our team in home runs and RBIs. Not only does she hit for power, she hits for average as well.

Mazie Flud – Kiefer
A leader on the team, Mazie will be an impact player again this year.

Anna Green – Mounds
She was All-Conference as a freshman.
During her sophomore and junior years, she was All-Conference, All-District, and All Conference Player of the Year.

Takyah Jamerson – Sapulpa
Takyah is one of the athletes coaches look forward to having.
She is a leader and a dependable teammate. She is the first in the facility and the last to leave. Takyah is constantly striving to be a better athlete and teammate and looks to continue her athletic career at the next level.

Sydney Owens – Union
Sydney is a solid defensive player at second base, short stop, and third base, wherever we need her.

Volleyball
Mackenzie McGuire – Broken Arrow
Four year Varsity starter. Outside hitter who led the team in attacks and kills last season.
First team all Frontier Valley Conference last year.

Madison Swift – Coweta
Senior all around player, OH, has played opposite the past two years due to her ability to block. Great leader and teammate.

Payton Robbins – Sand Springs
Payton played some varsity as a freshman and was a six rotation OH last year. She will look
to continue to give Sand Springs offense her upcoming junior year.

Ryann Hoey – Sapulpa
Ryann will be a six rotation outside hitter, senior, and varsity captain this season. Lead the
team in kills last year, as a junior, and was honorable mention for the Frontier Valley All
Conference Team.

Tierney Jackson – Union
Tierney is a 6’3″ outside hitter. She plays six rotations for us. She is a top 50 prospect
nationally as a middle blocker. She will be a top recruit in the state.

Unsung Heroes
Football

Jadahian Floyd-Wright – Broken Arrow
Jadahian will look to be an impact player, all over the field, this season for the Tigers.

Carter Fuser – Coweta
He has had two torn ACL’s in August the past two years and has not had the opportunity to
play one varsity football game. Even with tha, he has not missed a practice. He has
rehabbed extremely hard and will be a great addition this season on the field.

Mike Edwards – Glenpool
Mike Edwards is a very smart football player. He is very aware of what is going on around
him. Mike also is a great leader, that leads by example. He has the ability to play on all sides
of the ball in multiple positions. Mike is a very quick learner, great tackler, and communicator.

Glenny Jones – Jenks
He has been around Jenks his entire life. He is a great young man that always has a smile on
his face.

Will Puryear – Liberty
Will is an undersized linebacker and running back, but his heart and his effort have earned
him a starting spot on the team last year and this year according to the coaches.

Will Swigert – Mounds
Will is a great student and the hardest worker on the team. He is a running back on offense
and a starting linebacker on defense. Can fill in on the offensive line if necessary.

Softball
Addie Coon – Berryhill
Addie is athletic and could play a big role in multiple positions this season.

Adison Normandin – Broken Arrow
Normandin does the things that do not show up in the stats.

Bailey Cooper – Coweta
The Lady Tigers will look to Cooper to play a bigger role this season.

Brynn Daniel – Bixby
Whether playing on the field or sitting on the bench, Daniel is a solid teammate.

Dillyn New – Glenpool
Dillyn enters this season ready to have an expanded roll for her team this season.

Faith Russell – Jenks (Pictured Above)
Russell excels on the field as well as in the classroom. She could be a big time player for the
Lady Trojans.

Faith Williams – Kiefer
A great kid on and off the field, Williams will continue to be a solid team player.

Daniah Blation – Sapulpa
Daniah will be an outstanding player for the Lady Chieftains this season.

Jaycee Foor – Union
After working hard this offseason, Foor is looking to increase her impact on the team.

Volleyball
Avery Jones – Broken Arrow
Jones enters this season ready to increase her role on the team, and be a big contributing factor.

Alex Harper – Coweta
Haper is an outstanding kid and has great skills, look for her to make big plays.

Tehya Johnson – Sand Springs

On the court and off, Johnson is a great teammate that is always dependable.

Jessica Thompson – Sapulpa

Jessica is a hard worker and is always trying to become a better player.

Mia Martin – Union
Martin has put in work in the offseason and is looking forward to making an impact this
season.

Underclassmen to Watch
Football

Josh Newkirk – Bixby
Josh will be a junior wide receiver and defensive back. He looks to step up and increase his
role this season.

Dietrich Moore – Broken Arrow
Moore has put in a lot of work in the offseason and is ready to be an impact player.

Deacon Peterson – Coweta
Extremely coachable and physical player that could have started as a freshman. He works
hard day in and day out. He wants to be great.

DaMicah Woods – Glenpool
DaMicah Woods is quick and slippery. It is hard for people to get a clean shot on him. He
has very good vision for an athlete his age. He has good speed, and great quickness.

Stanford – Jenks
Stanford will be an impact player on both sides of the ball for the Trojans this year.

Jalen Prestridge – Liberty
He was an outstanding player on the eighth grade team and he looks to make an impact in
his first season on varsity.

Brady Anderson – Mounds
He started as a freshman on both sides of the ball. He has worked hard and could become a top playmaker on the team this fall.

Jacob Blevins and Dylan Sallas – Sand Springs
Jacob started as a sophomore last year and he is looking to have a monster year this season. He has great size and speed. Dylan Sallas has the ability to be a top tier defensive back. He cracked the starting line-up in the middle of the season and showed great ability. Has been working extremely hard this off season.

Justin Squire – Sapulpa
As a sophomore, coaches feel like Squire has the ability to be a big time playmaker for the
Chieftains. He has really good speed and is very physical for as young as he is.

Softball
Kenzi Niehus – Berryhill
Niehus enters this season looking to be an impact player on the diamond.

Emily Evans – Broken Arrow
Evans has worked hard to get where she is but is not satisfied. She will look to improve her
game this season.

Kindal Biggs – Bixby
Biggs has worked hard and is ready to hit the field with the Lady Spartans.

Chaney Helton – Coweta
The Lady Tigers’ Helton is a great kid and athlete that should have a solid season.

Gracyn McGowan – Glenpool
McGowan works hard and is a great team player.

Cali Worsham – Jenks
Whether on the softball field or in the classroom, Worsham works hard to be at her best at
all times.

Kami Smith – Kiefer
Smith is a good player that looks to increase her impact on the season.

Sophia Abbott – Mounds
Abbott is a skilled athlete and looks to have a big season.

Sage Adams – Sapulpa
Adams has worked hard in the offseason and should be a solid player this season.

Lily Hance – Union

Lily should be a big time player for her team this season.

Hailee Alexander – Broken Arrow
Hailee is looking to be an impact player for Broken Arrow this season.

Alexis Schauffler – Coweta

A hard worker on the court and in the classroom, Schauffler looks to have a big season.

Averi Tippit – Sand Springs
Tippit is a strong player and a solid teammate.

Tyla Heard – Sapulpa
Heard is an all around team player and does whatever she can to help the team.

Brittany Smith – Union
Though a solid member of the team, Smith does a lot of things that do not show up on the
stat sheet.
