Owasso Area “Super 7″ – Editor’s & Fan’s Choice – Presented By Kayla Kerr Shelter Insurance

Editor’s Choice

These are the top seven players in the Owasso area hub, ranked by VYPE editors regardless of position.

#1 Chris McClellan – DL – Senior – Owasso

A real beast on the defensive line, as McClellan becomes more comfortable with the Ram scheme, he will settle in and be a force in the trenches. McClellan has offers from several big DI schools.

#2 Hakelan Carney – WR – Senior – Owasso

Carney accounted for a large piece of the offensive passing yards the Rams had last season. Carney has tremendous speed and excellent size for a wide out. Look for him to have another big year.

#3 Jake Clifton – OLB – Senior – Owasso

Everything you want in a linebacker, Jake Clifton is a big 6-foot-3, 205-pound backer who tackles with purpose and never gives up on a play. Clifton could lead the team in tackles.

#4 Michael “MJ” Jamerson – DL – Senior – Owasso

Getting after quarterbacks is what Jamerson will do for a defense. His pressure and ability to stop the run is what keeps offensive coordinators up at night. Jamerson will have his best season as a senior.

#5 Cole Adams – WR – Junior – Owasso

Cole Adams can hurt you at wide receiver or running the ball at tailback. Adams is over 1,000 yards for his receiving career with nearly 20 total touchdowns. His crisp routes and great hands are tough to defend.

#6 Gabe Grazier – C/DL – Senior – Oologah

One of the more versatile and durable offensive or defensive lineman you will find in Oklahoma. Grazier has a ton of experience and a high football IQ to go with his talent on the field.

#7 Forrest Johnston – C/NG – Senior – Skiatook

A two-way starter for the Bulldogs, Johnston loves the game and does not shy away from contact. A heady player with a physical game to match, Johnston is nearly impossible to handle one-on-one.
