Tulsa Public & Private Schools Football “Super 7″ – Editor’s & Fan’s Choice – Presented By Oklahoma Driving School

Editor’s Choice

These are the top seven players in the Tulsa Public and Private School hubs, ranked by VYPE editors regardless of position.

#1 Gentry Williams – ATH – Senior – Booker T. Washington

If you enjoy watching players who have that spark, then look no further than Gentry Williams. The speedster has multiple offers and is ready to bring home the gold.

#2 Kirk Francis – QB – Junior – Metro Christian

Another rocket-fire arm at Metro Christian, Francis and place the ball where he wants and pick a defense apart from the pocket. Francis threw 29 touchdowns a year ago.

#3 Cash Hudson – C/DL – Senior – Bishop Kelley

Size and strength coupled with the awareness of a center and the aggressiveness of a defensive lineman. Hudson has all the tools you want in the trench.

#4 NuNu Campbell – WR/CB – Senior – Holland Hall

The offers are rolling in for NuNu and for good reason. At 6-foot, he’s a perfect size for corner and he can run routes at WR with the best of them.

#5 Micah Tease – WR – Junior – Booker T. Washington

One of the more dangerous wide receivers in the state. Tease has the talents to play at the next level, but before he does, he wants to help bring a championship to BTW.

#6 Kortland Lowe – RB – Sophomore – Nathan Hale

The future of the Hale Rangers, Lowe showed he can carry the load at running back. Look for Lowe to be one of the players that the Rangers lean on this season.

#7 Flynn Sage – FB/TE/LB – Senior – Cascia Hall

I don’t think there is a position Sage couldn’t play for the Commandos. Sage will spend a lot of time on the field this season for Cascia Hall.

Fan’s Choice

Based on fan voting from online polls in the Tulsa Public and Private School hubs,
these are the top seven players in each position.

OFFENSE

Quarterback: Triton Chandler – Victory Christian

A smart kid, a hard worker, and looks to have a strong season leading the Conquerors.

Wide Receiver/Tight End: Kamauri Bailey – Nathan Hale

A threat on the outside, Bailey is a sure-handed receiver.

Running Back: Avery Goins – NOAH

Goins is a strong leader and a solid back that had 1,501 all-purpose yards last season.

Offensive Lineman: Austen Eddins – NOAH

A great athlete in the trenches, he will help make things easier on his quarterback.

DEFENSE

Linebacker: Mylan Owens – Central

Owens enters this season ready to make an impact on the field.

Defensive Back: Cody Collins – Nathan Hale

Looks to be a disruptor in the secondary, breaking up opponent’s big play hopes.

Defensive Lineman: Jackson Lawley – NOAH

A tough kid, Lawley should be a tough defender on the line.
