Players to Watch

Parker Friedrichsen – Bixby

Parker is an outstanding player and could be one of the top shooters and scorers in the state.

Justin Wormell – Bishop Kelley

Justin is a lethal shooter who can get hot at any time.

Kam Parker – Booker T. Washington

Kam is a hard worker, great shooter, and a solid teammate. He loves to defend and is a competitor. He is poised to have a great senior year and has the potential to excel at the next level. 

Isaac Harris – Catoosa

Isaac is the leader of the team and capable of going off every night. He makes those around him better whenever he takes the floor. 

Trey Bartholomew – Coweta

Trey has worked relentlessly to expand his game, and it definitely shows in his confidence. He will play a vital role in Coweta’s success this year. 

Caden Fry – Owasso

Caden has an unbelievable work ethic and always gives it one hundred percent anytime he steps on the court. 

Kylen Edwards – Sapulpa

Just a great person with an outstanding work ethic that will be a big time player for Sapulpa.

Jason Clark – Sand Springs

Jason is a high energy player who consistently makes plays on both ends of the floor.

Ty Frierson – Tulsa Memorial

Frierson is a big time player who steps up when he is called on. Has the potential to make a big impact on the team this season.

Unsung Heroes

Tristan Madden – Bixby

Brings the energy and intensity every day in practice and at game time.

Nathan Oxford – Catoosa

Nate is an all around team player. He would rather win and not score than collect individual accolades without team success. 

Tye Lair – Coweta

The epitome of a team player, Tye made an ultimate sacrifice last year, by offering to come off the bench. He will always do whatever is in the best interest of the team. 

Price Pennington – Owasso

Price does a little bit of everything for the Rams, from playing defense, rebounding to scoring.

Joseph Willibey – Sapulpa

Willibey has a great work ethic everyday and not only does he put in his work but he spends time helping his teammates. 

Cale Askew – Sand Springs

Cale has been a member of the varsity team for three seasons. He is always ready to step into any role asked to help the team win. He leads on and off the court.

Underclassmen to Watch

Sam McCormick – Bixby

A solid sophomore member of the Spartans team, he looks to make an impact this season. 

Titus Miller – Catoosa

His combination of size, skill, and athleticism make him an outstanding player with a bright future. 

Noah Worden – Coweta

Noah loves the game of basketball and has a great work ethic. He is going to be a huge threat on the offensive end for the next three years for the Tigers.

Isaiah McLemore – Owasso

Isaiah is a great shooter with range and is working hard to become an all around basketball player.

Zac Lewis – Sapulpa

Zac is a crafty lefty that can really score the ball and create for others as well.

Kooper Kelly – Sand Springs

Kelly has an all around skill set and game understanding that’s going to only get better with varsity experience. 

Girls

Players to Watch

Gracy Wernli – Bixby

Excellent leader, hard worker, and dedicated player that is also an outstanding three-point shooter.

Carrigan Hill – Booker T. Washington

True point guard and four year starter. Makes the players around her better and has a high basketball IQ.

Jaycee Beach – Catoosa

Beach is a great athlete and has the ability to lead the Lady Indians to success this season.

Cooper Hilton – Coweta

Great shooter and play maker and she is a tremendous leader for the team.

Elise Hill – Holland Hall

Point guard that led the team in scoring last season, averaging 14.4 points per game. Looks to be an impact player again this season. 

Seldon Stover – Owasso

Seldon is extremely athletic and is able to make things happen on both ends of the floor.

Stailee Heard – Sapulpa

Heard already has received over twenty D1 offers. She is an exceptional athlete with a great work ethic and is a great team player. 

Journey Armstead – Sand Springs

Journey has worked hard to become the player she is today. She is a key member of the Lady Sandites basketball team and will have a huge impact this season. 

TK Pitts – Union

A recent SMU commit, Pitts has been playing with a ton of confidence as she steps into her new role as leader of this team.

Unsung Heroes

Haley Prince – Bixby

She has a great attitude, is a solid player at practice, and is always ready to help the team.

Zoe Brown – Catoosa

Zoe has great hands and works hard. She is aggressive on the boards.

Caitlin Boone – Coweta

She is always in the right place, at the right time. She will be a strong role player this season.

Chloe Stocksen – Owasso

Chloe is an incredible leader. She is a player that leads by example and her leadership is a huge asset to the team.

Jaselyn Rossman – Sapulpa

She is a total team player. She was a part of a very talented team last season, but will see her role increase this season.

Layne Kirkendoll – Sand Springs

Kirkendoll is an tremendous rebounder and an all around great player. 

Underclassmen to Watch

Laci Scott – Bixby

A quick and explosive point guard, Scott should have a solid season for the Lady Spartans.

Ta’Nei West – Catoosa

A freshman guard who brings some speed and athletic ability to the team. Lots of energy and leadership skills.

Macee Matthews – Coweta

She has tons of potential with the ability to be an inside and outside threat.

Makenna Yokley – Owasso

Makenna’s growth and experience will be a key for the Lady Rams to be successful this season.

Tyla Heard – Sapulpa

Heard had a big season last year and she looks to have a bigger impact this season. She has multiple D1 offers.

Sakuri Wilson – Sand Springs

Wilson will have a strong presence on the defensive end of the court. She looks to be an all around player.
