VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team this season?

Brianna: My goal for myself is to place in the top 10 at state again and keep my average below 82. My goal for my team is to win our home tournament and place top three, if not win state!

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Brianna: Regionals 2021. The team and I laughed more times than not and made memories that I will never forget.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?

Brianna: I have three. Ms. Anderson, Mr. DeBella, and Mrs. Wilcoxen. All of them made class fun and unforgettable. They are also very supportive teachers and like to ask their students frequently about their lives outside of school.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Brianna: My favorite athletic memory would have to be when I had to wait to see if I had won the tie for 10th place at 2021 state. It was suspenseful but when I ended up getting the medal, my team, and surrounding teams that I knew erupted in cheers. It was very special to me to have that support from my team and my friends from other teams that day.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Brianna: The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Brooklyn. She is a sophomore this year and perseveres through so much while playing golf. She has made varsity the past two years and shot her best score last year while in immense back pain. Watching her succeed on and off the golf course drives me to push past my struggles and continue to play.

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Brianna: I would say I personally have the best impression of Coach Johnson, but if I had to choose someone else, I would say Mack, Jessie and Macie definitely say the funniest things during tournaments. They always say the funniest, out-of-the-blue comments that make the team crack up laughing within seconds.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Brianna: I would take my best friend Rebekah to tour Europe. Specifically, Spain, Greece, and Italy.

VYPE: If we gave you $500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?

Brianna: I would spend all of it on books and shoes. I’m a big book nerd and I also love shoes.
