RH91’s Cayden Cheek – athlete spotlight presented by Racket and health 91

Cayden Cheek is in his final year of high school education at home. He has played tennis on and off for about 13 years but has really gotten serious about it the last three years.

Cheek will always recall the first tournament he won as a standout moment in his tennis career. He said the feeling that comes along with winning is the thing that pushes him on towards higher and higher goals.

“I love the feeling you have right after a big win. It’s what drives me to keep training,” he said.

Cheek is also part of the Trent Tucker Tennis Academy at RH91 (Racquet & Health 91) in Tulsa. Tucker Tennis is USTA (United States Tennis Association) certified and has many different programs from basic skills programs for four-to-six yea-olds up to programs for the serious tournament player. Cheek says his involvement there has been hugely beneficial for him on the court.

“RH91 has tremendously helped my mental game and they’ve built my game from the ground up and I couldn’t thank them more,” he said.

In addition to tennis, Cheek also enjoys playing the bass guitar. He is planning to continue his tennis career at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, then further his studies at a law school.
