Catoosa’s Jillian Woodson – “Talk of the Tailgate” presented by Taco Bueno

Catoosa varsity cheerleader Jillian Woodson is a senior this year and she loves being in front of those Friday night lights.

A two-year member of the cheer squad, Jillian is now a senior and in her final year of school. Being on the sidelines for the football games has been something special for her and her teammates.

“What I love about Friday night football is the involvement from students out of every grade and the environment,” Jillian said.

As a member of the cheer squad, Jillian said she is proud of her teammates and how hard they have worked this season. The support they show each other is something special to Jillian and is something she will never forget.

“What I love most about my team is at the end of the day we all know we support one another and care for each other,” Jillian said.

Over the years Jillian has created many memories attending games and being on the sideline. From great plays to getting the crowd going, Jillian said her favorite moment came last season.

“My favorite moment at a game was probably our pink out game last year,” Jillian said. “Catoosa is a great place to go to school because you really can build some great bonds with your fellow students and staff.”

Like many seniors, savoring the moment can get lost, but for Jillian, one thing she will never forget is the excitement of being at the game.

“I will miss the excitement throughout the football games. That’s what I will miss the most,” said Jillian.

Once the game is over, Jillian said the first thing her and her friends do is, “find some food.” And her favorite item on the Taco Bueno menu is?

“Mucho Nachos without tomatoes.”
