Tulsa Hale Athlete Spotlight – Kaylee Wilkerson – Presented by Barracuda Staffing & Consulting

For almost a third of her life, Tulsa Hale High School’s senior Kaylee Wilkerson has been a Cheerleader. Currently a senior at Hale High School, Kaylee started out cheerleading in the eighth grade.

When asked what Kaylee’s favorite part of Cheerleading is, she stated, “I would definitely say my favorite thing about cheering is getting to go to different sporting events and see how much our teams progress over time.”

Besides her dedication to cheerleading, Kaylee plays another sport- volleyball.

In terms of who inspired her the most thus far in life, Kaylee stated, “The person that has influenced and inspired me the most would be my older sister; she has taught me to follow not only my heart but my dreams to the greatest of my abilities.

In terms of academics, Kaylee stated, “I enjoy English class the most because it challenges me in ways I have never been challenged.”

Kaylee’s high academic performance propelled her to having been selected to be a member of the National Honor Society.

Kaylee is deeply involved with her high school, being a part of the Student Council at Hale High School.

As if her workload and involvement at her school were not enough, Kaylee works a part-time job in addition to all that she does.

Clearly, Kaylee is a people person, and to that extent, was chosen by her school to do the morning announcements at Hale High School.

After she graduates from Hale High School, Kaylee plans to further her education. She stated, “After high school, my plan is to go to Tulsa Community College for my first two years of college and complete my basic classes. Then after TCC, I want to transfer to Oklahoma State University. After OSU, I hope to further my education, and go into the medical field.”
