VYPE: Jacob, what grade are you in this year and how long have you played tennis?
Wallstein: I am a senior and I have been playing tennis since sophomore year.
VYPE: What have you enjoyed most about being a student-athlete at CHS?
Wallstein: I love the opportunities they have available for anyone.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
Wallstein: I love the grit and determination everyone shows.
VYPE: How is the chemistry around the team?
Wallstein: Everyone is always wanting to play more and get better whenever they can.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject or teacher in school?
Wallstein: I don’t really have a favorite subject or teacher. All my teachers are pretty good.
VYPE: Is there a something about your game you have worked to improve for this season?
Wallstein: My main thing I have worked on is my serving. Getting down the basics and fundamentals for serving was hard at first, but after putting in many hours at practice, I started to get the hang of it. Now, it might be my best thing on the court
VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?
Wallstein: I want to do TCC for two years then go to either OSU IT or go to OSU in Stillwater.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Wallstein: In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends. They all have big impacts on my life and never let me get down. Always positive and outgoing.
VYPE: How is the team shaping up for this season?
Wallstein: I believe we have many good pieces on our team that could make something great for Collinsville tennis.
