Coach: Beau Wallace
20-21 Record: 14-8
According to coach Beau Wallace, the Broken Arrow Tigers are returning a core group of players who advanced to the state tournament last season. “This team will be anchored by senior Anthony Allen (6-5, Sr.) and his presence inside and outside,” Wallace said. “Broken Arrow has plenty of size and speed to compete with anyone across the state. Our success will depend on the growth of some program players as well as other senior leader Aaron Johnson (6-3, Sr.).” Allen is a do-everything type of player with a high motor. Johnson does all of the things that do not show up in a stat book.
Also on the roster for coach Wallace are Brayden Johnson (6-0, Sr.), Ethan Ellison (6-5, Jr.), Connor Dow (6-6, Jr.), who is bringing a 5.0 points per game and 2.0 rpg average from last season, David “DJ” Howell (6-5, Fr.), Dason Cook (6-6, Jr.), Justice Sutton (6-6, Jr.), and Caleb Nibblelink (6-1, Sr.), who added 1.7 ppg and 1.3 rpg last season. Howell is only a freshman, but he is expected to have impactful moments this year. Coach Wallace said he is a sponge absorbing everything being taught to him. Ellison is a program player expected to make contributions to the overall success of the program.
