Coach: Shane Coffey

The Broken Arrow Lady Tigers will have some DI talent on the court this season, according to coach Shane Coffey. “The girls are eager to start a new year with a new coach,” Coffey said. “They are ready enhance their roles this season, and they will bring a different style of play to both sides of the ball this year.”
Heading that up will be Taleyah Jones (5-10, Sr.) who averaged 22.2 points per game last year and who Coffey said might be one of the most humble players he’s ever had the pleasure of coaching. Jones can score on all three levels. McKenzie Mathurin (5-10, Fr.) is someone coach called a “rising star in Oklahoma,” and who also has offers from DI schools. Rounding out the rest of the lineup for the Lady Tigers are Taneya Howard (5-11, Jr.), who averaged 4.8 ppg and 5.6 rebounds per game last season, Apryl Vann-Jackson (5-7, Sr.) who brings the energy every night, Aneesah Herrera (5-8, Sr.), who averaged 3.2 ppg and 3.7 rpg last year, Grace Pippett (5-11, Jr.) who made major improvements over the summer after averaging 3.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per contest last year, and Hallie Kitchen (5-7, So.) who gives 100 percent in everything she does. Kitchen can shoot the rock and is a big part of the future for Tiger basketball.
