Experience and potential is the combination Mike Acord and the Jenks Lady Trojans are working with this year. “After graduating only one senior last year, we are a very experienced team,” says Acord. “We have nine returning players that started at least one game last season and a few more young players who will have a chance for start for us.” Jill Twiehaus (5-9, So.) is a talented underclassman that will be one of the leaders on the floor. She led Jenks last in shooting percentage at 52.5 percent and averaged 9.5 points per game while grabbing 3.3 rebounds per game.

Madison Luciano (5-5, Jr.) is the top returning scorer after averaging 10.5 points per game. Bri Johnson (5-9, Sr.) is back after a knee injury forced her to miss all of last season. “Bri takes the underclassmen under her wing and is a great leader for them,” says Acord. “Having her back makes a big difference for our team, on and off the court.” Forward Kiara Brown (6-0, Sr.) is back for her senior season after averaging 7.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game last year. Other players expected to play a key for the Lady Trojans are Paige Robertson (5-8, Sr.) and Mackenzie Forgione (6-2, Jr.).
