Coach- Larry Owens

20-21 Record: 9-14

The Lady Conquerors enter the new season ready to use last season’s 9-14 record as something to learn from and make improvements for this season. Head coach Larry Owens says that his team should have a solid year. “We will be an exciting team to watch this season,” Owens said. “We will be fast and aggressive on defense. We have 1 of the top scores in the state and a great freshman class. Senior shooting guard, Jessa Gilyard (5-9, Sr.) is an athletic player that can shoot the ball from deep and score at will. She scored 47 points in one game last season and is the player in the conference. 

Bella Wakley (5-9, Sr.) is entering her final campaign for the Lady Conquerors. She is an athletic player that can defend about any position on the floor. She will also serve as one of the team captains this season. She is just a natural basketball player. The other team captain, Tessa Edwards (5-6, Sr.) is an outstanding defender with high energy. Katie Elliot (5-8, So.) is a sharpshooter at shooting guard that can also play great on defense. Bella Remy (5-6, Fr.) is a smart point guard that should be able to come in and give good minutes on the floor. She is also a terrific defender that has worked hard to become better. She looks to have a solid season.
