Tulsa Area Hometown Hero Nominees – presented by Tulsa Bone & Joint

Addie Coon (Berryhill) – Addie is a great student-athlete and is an outstanding representative for Berryhill High School.

Leah Ames (Bishop Kelley) – She is a solid athlete, a great teammate, and always gives her best.

Julie Jones (Bixby) – Julie is the definition of balance. She is able to maintain stellar grades in advanced classes, participates in class and student council activities as a leader, and is a strong member of the swim team.

Jordan Drew (Booker T Washington) – This kid is the perfect definition of a student-athlete. Does the right things on and off the field. Great leader for this senior class.

Caleb Abercrombie (Broken Arrow) – Caleb has created a high level of success at Broken Arrow through his participation. He is enthusiastic, dedicated, hard-working, and honorable as well as giving. His best contribution to Broken Arrow is the manner in which he has modeled leadership, he embodies the highest level of leadership. He has a servant’s heart and leads by example. Caleb strives to make everyone great. Caleb is a constant reminder to be the best version of yourself.

Alex Harper (Coweta) – Alex is an outstanding person that goes above and beyond to make a positive impact in any way possible.

Dillyn New (Glenpool) – She is an unselfish person that is always willing to go out of her way to help anyone.

Mace Patterson (Holland Hall) – Mace has been a “Lifer” at Holland Hall and along with success in the classroom, he is also outstanding on the field.

Dacia Sexton (Jenks) – Dacia is the youngest of three children. Her brother has cerebral palsy and takes a lot of extra care. Dacia has still excelled in school and softball while helping with her brother all the time. She always wants him at her games and even takes him to dinner with her friends.

Myah Valois (Kiefer) – She is a hard-nosed athlete that always works hard and is a solid leader. She also excels when she is not on the basketball court.

Jenikka Boone (Liberty) – Willing to help any student or their family at any time. She has a heart of gold and everyone at her school loves her. Jenn is a young lady that you feel blessed that she is a part of your life.

Chloe Ricke (Lincoln Christian) – Chloe is a great kid that is a great example among her peers. She is also a great teammate on her athletic teams.

Josh McDill (Tulsa Memorial) – Josh is a senior that has carried a 3.5+ GPA every year he has been at Memorial. He works very hard in the classroom, in the weight room, and on the football field.

Trendon McDonald (Mounds) – Trendon is a great student who excels at football, basketball, and baseball and has also participated in track. He is also a great person away from sports too.

Layne Kirkendoll (Charles Page) – On the basketball court, Layne is an outstanding rim protector and rebounder. When he is not playing, he is working hard in the classroom.

Jaselyn Rossman (Sapulpa) – Total team player and an outstanding puzzle piece for her team. She is an outstanding teammate and classmate that is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Desiree Marshall-Penny (Union) – Desiree is one that always gives her best at whatever she is working on. She is a positive influence throughout the school.

Triton Chandler (Victory Christian) – Triton consistently puts others’ needs ahead of his own. He is the epitome of a servant leader and truly loves others. He has spent many hours on athletics and academics, maintaining a 4.0 GPA while taking AP and collegiate level courses.

Journey Chandler (Will Rogers) – Journey goes out of her way to help others anytime she can. She works hard in the classroom and in her athletics.
