VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team this season?
Jack: My personal goal for this year is to be the best pitcher I can possibly be and increase my velocity to 90 MPH. As for my team goal, it’s to get back to state and win back-to-back championships!
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Jack: I would definitely have to say the days of the regional and state tournament were the most fun I’ve had in the last year and probably ever. It was absolutely amazing!
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?
Jack: My favorite teacher from any grade would have to be my 10th grade AP World history teacher Kody Engel. He was a great teacher and a great guy and really pushed me in the classroom and made me love history.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Jack: My favorite athletic memory would without a doubt have to be winning the state championship last year.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Jack: I would probably have to say my teammate Jace Wright. I’ve been playing with him since day one and he’s always there for me on and off the field.
VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?
Jack: Probably Chandler Fowler. He’s a super funny dude and everything he does just cracks me up every time.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Jack: If I could go anywhere for a summer vacation I would probably go to Mexico and I would take my friends Jace, Jake, Luke, and Carter.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?
Jack: If I had $500 dollars to spend in the next 24 hours, I would probably order a new custom glove from Rawlings, and with the extra probably just go get food with my friends.
VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.
Jack: I just want to thank my family, coaches, friends, teammates, and teachers for all they do for me and all the support they give me.
