Coweta basketball player Caden Garrett shares his passion – Presented by Goodfella’s Pizzeria

VYPE: What are your goals for this season? 

Caden: My goal is to make a March 2023 state tournament run.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life? 

Caden: Something my sport has taught me that I use in my daily life is the inevitability of failure.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Caden: My favorite teacher is our athletic trainer, JD, because she has probably taught me the most useful things that I might use in my daily life. 

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Caden: Someone that inspires me is my Dad. He has taught me how to become a better athlete.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why? 

Caden: A teammate that has left an impression on me is Landon Hitchcock. He’s someone that everyone can model their game after.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?  

Caden: My favorite part about being on a team is the friendships built, and hanging out with my teammates.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you? 

Caden:  If I could pick any place for summer vacation I would go to the beach with my Mom and Dad.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Caden: I am passionate about basketball because it’s something I can work at everyday and progress to become better.

Caden: Lastly, I want to thank all my coaches at Coweta, my AAU coaches, and trainers for helping me become the player I am today.
