VYPE: What are your goals for this season?
Connor: To win the freshmen basketball playoffs and to win as many games as I can with JV.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Connor: It’s taught me teamwork. I use teamwork everyday, whether it’s with my team or with people at school for a project.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Connor: My biology teacher, Coach Seaba, because we both enjoy sports and we get a lot of free time in his class.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Connor: Ja Morant inspires me. I love watching him play basketball and I wish I was more like him.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Connor: Dylan Ingold has left the biggest impression on me as a teammate. He pushes everyone on the team to do better and he encourages everyone when they’re down.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Connor: My favorite part about being on a team is just being friends with everyone. Most of the people I hang out with are my teammates and we just get to spend more time together at practice and games.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Connor: I would go to London, England with my family. I’ve always wanted to go to London ever since I was a little kid and I would bring my family because we go on all our vacations together.
VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?
Connor: I just love to play basketball. It’s fun to me and it’s one of my favorite things to do.
VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.
Connor: I’d like to thank all my coaches and teammates for making me better and I’d like to thank my family for supporting me in everything I do.
