VYPE: What are your goals for this season?
Macee: My goals for this season are to become closer with my team, be a better leader, and make a run postseason.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Macee: My sport has taught me to never give up and to fight through adversity.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Macee: My favorite teacher I’ve had is Mr. Kern, my AP European History teacher. He makes learning fun and never fails to make us laugh.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Macee: My dad inspires me because he only has one hand and he doesn’t let that get in the way of his everyday life.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Macee: The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Justice Austin. She’s been fighting an ankle injury for over a year and she’s shown me never to give up and to always come back.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Macee: My favorite part about being on a team is the relationships you build. My team is like my family.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Macee: For a summer vacation I would go to the beach somewhere and I would take some of my best friends from my AAU team and some of my best friends from Coweta.
VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?
Macee: I’m passionate about my sport because it’s become a part of my everyday life. I eat, sleep, and breathe basketball and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
