Coweta’s Mason Ford and Carson Flanary named OCA Football All-Stars – Presented by Rib Crib

Coweta wide receiver Mason Ford and defensive lineman Carson Flanary have both been selected to the Oklahoma Coaches Association Class 5A East All-Star team.

Ford, who is committed to Emporia State University, finished with 1,345 all-purpose yards to pace the Tigers in 2022. He had 691 receiving yards on 52 catches, rushed for 237 yards on 23 carries and combined for 12 touchdowns.

Flanary, an East Central University commit, recorded 57 total tackles, 14 of those for losses, and posted 14 quarterback sacks and 13 hurries. He also caused two fumbles and had one fumble recovery.

Coweta went 11-1 overall under head coach Tim Harper. The Tigers went unbeaten at 7-0 in District 5A-3 and advanced to the Class 5A quarterfinals.
