Broken Arrow boys bounce back to claim state tournament berth – Presented by Timber Wolf Excavating

The Broken Arrow Tigers bounced back from their only loss of the season to defeat Putnam City North, 68-52, in a Class 6A East Area consolation final Saturday, March 4 and move on to the state tournament.

The Tigers, who were spotless during the regular season with a 22-0 mark under head coach Beau Wallace, will face Norman (18-7) Thursday, March 9 to begin state tournament play at Lloyd Noble Center in Norman.

Members of the Tigers (25-1) include: Diego Ochoa, Connor Dow, De’Von Wallace, Justice Sutton, Corban Dow, Anton Wallace, JD Talley, Ethan Ellison, Sam Keller, David Howell, Lincoln Smith, Dason Cook, Alijah Harrison, Nyjah Noyes and Logan Shockley.

Broken Arrow’s lone state championship came in 1997.
