Hi, what are you looking for?

Jenks

Getting to know Jenks’ Evan Fraser – Presented by Elevate Coworking

VYPE: What are your goals for this season?

Evan: My goal for the season is to help my team to win another state championship.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Evan: Baseball has taught me to not be so hard on myself. Baseball is a sport where you fail a lot and I learned not to tear myself down when I fail.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Evan: Ms. Johnson. I had her as a sophomore. She really just was a light to my sophomore year. She always was positive and always made sure I was doing ok. Now she is my advisory teacher and we talk daily.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Evan: My grandpa inspires me because he grew me up watching Cardinal games. And with his passing this year I’m going to play this season for him.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Evan: Logan Tibbett. Logan is the hardest worker I know. He was a scrawny freshman that could not bench 135 when coming into the program. Now he is one of the strongest dudes in the program. He is a leader and helps me stay focused when people are not focused.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Evan: My favorite part about being on this team is our chemistry. We are always having fun with each other. But we know when it is time to get serious and work together to play the game of baseball.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Evan: I would like to go to the beach and relax with my family.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Evan: I am passionate about this sport because I have put my whole life into this sport. Whether it be in the cages, throwing a bullpen, or playing an actual game.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Evan: I just want to thank my parents for constantly being in my corner and pushing me always. Also, thank you to Coach Hendricks for always pushing me and always being an open ear to talk to.
