Legendary Jenks Trojan coach Allan Trimble has added another honor to a storied career and life as the head coach of the Jenks Trojans football team.

Allan Trimble is a selectee and will soon be enshrined into the National High School Hall of Fame.

The announcement came on the first day of spring as football coaches begin to look towards spring ball and summer workouts.

Coach Trimble spent 22 seasons as the head coach of the Trojans and in that time, he hoisted the gold ball 13 times and sent countless players to the college and professional levels.

During his 22 seasons with the Trojans, Trimble had a record of 252-43 and was nearly invincible at home. So much so, they named the stadium after him.

Trimble is in the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame and the Oklahoma Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Longtime Jenks football play-by-play man, the voice of the Trojans Don King, had this to add about Trimble receiving the honor.

“He would be so humbled by this honor and immediately turn the accolades to his coaches who worked for him and the players who played for him. As proud as he was of his successes, he was even more proud of his assistants getting successful head coaching positions and watching his players grow into men and becoming good family men. Faith, Family, & Football always in that order,” said King.
The ceremony will take place on July 1st, 2023, during the NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations) held in Seattle, Washington. Trimble is among 11 other selectees for the Hall of Fame.
