Sapulpa’s Stailee Heard has been selected to the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association and Oklahoma Coaches Association Large East All-State teams.

Heard, who led the Lady Chieftains to a Class 5A state championship in 2023 and who is an Oklahoma State commit, averaged a double-double with 20.5 points and 10.1 rebounds in her final season. She also averaged 4.2 assists, 2.7 steals, shot 55 percent overall from the floor and 34 percent from 3-point territory.

Sapulpa went 25-2 overall under head coach Darlean Calip in 2022-23. The state title was the sixth in program history and the second in the last three years.
