Q&A with Sand Springs’ Kenzie King – Presented by Eric Davidson State Farm

VYPE: What goals do you have for this year?
Kenzie: My goals for this year is to continue successful team chemistry and finish our season strong.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Kenzie: It has taught me to learn and grow with people who will come and go through the years.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Kenzie: Coach Bray because he was always encouraging and understanding to all the students.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Kenzie: My mom inspires me because she has always stayed strong through hard teams and taught me to never give up.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Kenzie: Kelsi Hilton because she always uplifts the team and helps us keep our energy high.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Kenzie: My favorite part about being on a team is creating all the strong bonds with the players and meeting some of my best friends through the sport.

VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain.
Kenzie: I think my little sister is our best family. She is so passionate in what she does and one of the most determined people I know. She is constantly working hard and doing what she can to make herself better.

VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play?
Kenzie: If I could wish to do another sport I would wish to do competitive gymnastics again. It kept me in shape all the time and was always enjoyable.

VYPE: What profession would you like to work in?
Kenzie: I would like to go into pediatric nursing as my profession.
