VYPE: What goals do you have for this year?
Abbi: My goal is to leave a lasting impact on my teammates for my kindness and humorous outlook.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Abbi: My sport has taught me both leadership and self-confidence. It has taught me to speak up.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Abbi: My favorite teacher was probably Mrs. Faith Liston, she always pushed me to be the best and supported all of my goals. She had the kindest soul.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Abbi: My coach, Coach K, inspires me the most. She gives unconditional love even when we get an attitude or are grumpy. She pushes us to be the best versions of ourselves and genuinely wants the best for us. She does all this and so much more. Our team would not be the same without her.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Abbi: My teammate, Lillie Keim, has left the biggest impact on me. We have cheered
together since 7th grade. She is such a strong leader and supportive teammate. She is kind to everyone, unconditionally. She stands up for what is right, even if it’s not what everyone agrees with. I admire that most about her.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Abbi: I love all of the friendships that I’ve gained from being on a team.
VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain.
Abbi: My brother, age 6, is definitely the best athlete. He participates in both football and soccer. He is very quick on his feet.
VYPE: What profession would you like to work in?
Abbi: I would like to become a Child Advocacy Lawyer.
