Aaliyah: To get offers and get my name out way more as a freshman.

VYPE: What has basketball taught you that you use in your daily life?
Aaliyah: To face your challenges even when you don’t want to, because you’ll have to regardless.

VYPE: What’s your favorite style of shoe to wear in game?
Aaliyah: GT Cuts. Kyrie’s, Harden’s, Melo’s.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Aaliyah: Zia Cooke because she’s always went hard and made it to where she wanted to the league.

VYPE: What do you think is the biggest challenge in basketball?
Aaliyah: When the wrong coach starts to take your love away for the game.

VYPE: What do you think makes a great basketball player?
Aaliyah: A person with good energy all the time, a leader, and goes hard even through the pain.

VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain.
Aaliyah: Me.

VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play? Aaliyah: Softball or volleyball.
