9 Questions with Payton Bullock, Sapulpa Basketball
VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Sapulpa?
Bullock: The thing I love being a student-athlete at Sapulpa is how the community is really
supportive for all of our sports and another thing I love about being a student athlete is the
support from peers.

VYPE: What grade are you in and what position do you play on the basketball team?
Bullock: I am a senior this year and I play guard/forward.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?
Bullock: The thing I love most about my teammates is that they are always here for me no
matter what. Just being able to go at it in practice to turn around and go do something
together after practice.
VYPE: Do you belong to any clubs or groups at school?
Bullock: I am part of the National Honor Society as well as the Athletic leadership council.
VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school and do you have a favorite teacher?
Bullock: My favorite subject in school has always been math, I would say my favorite
teacher at Sapulpa would be Mrs. Arundell.
VYPE: What’s the goal for this season?
Bullock: The goal for this season is to definitely make a deep playoff run and chase the gold
ball.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?
Bullock: After I graduate, I would like to attend University of Oklahoma and study
criminology and eventually become a detective.
VYPE: How is the team coming together?
Bullock: This team has come together so much; we have been through a lot and the way we
have never given up through any of it has just been such a life lesson. The way we have
adjusted to playing for Coach Nagel has been great as well and can definitely tell everyone
is bought in.
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life?
Bullock: My biggest influence in life has definitely been God as well as My mother. My mom
is the strongest person I know and without her or God none of my life and success would be
possible.
