VYPE: What goals do you have for this year?
Teagan: This year my main goal is to be able to end the season off knowing that I worked as hard as I could the whole time.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Teagan: Softball has taught me to not only work for what I want but that everything takes time, work, and patience.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Teagan: My favorite teacher is my ag teacher, Mr. Nieman, because he is always pushing me and leading me to try new things or work harder on everything.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Teagan: My mom is my biggest inspiration because she never shows her struggles, no matter what she’s going through she always tries to make everything work out the best she can.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Teagan: A recent graduate, Bailee Campbell, has left the biggest impression on me on and off the field. She always pushed me and talked me through whatever I was going through whether it was a slump I was in or something at home, she never failed to be there for me.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Teagan: My favorite part about being on a team is the relationships that are created and that begin to grow.
VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain.
Teagan: I would say that the best athlete in my family is my cousin. Seeing him excel more and more in his sport all the time and always working to get better is something I look up to.
VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play?
Teagan: If I were to play another sport I would wrestle, because all my brothers did and most of my family has.
VYPE: What’s your go-to pregame song?
Teagan: I wouldn’t say I have a specific pregame song but if I had to choose a type of music I would pick old country.
