Coweta High School wrestler Brock Roberts paused from his busy schedule to answer 9 Questions from VYPE Editor Brad Heath.

VYPE: Brock, what has being a student-athlete at Coweta High School done for you?

Roberts: I love the challenge it provides and the ability to overcome obstacles in life. 

VYPE: Do you play any other sports at CHS?
Roberts: No, just wrestling.

VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates on the wrestling team?  

Roberts: I love the brotherhood that comes along with the hard work that we all put into our sport.

VYPE: Are you involved in any other clubs or groups at school?
Roberts: I am a part of the leadership group at school.

VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject and/or favorite teacher at CHS?
Roberts: My favorite subject in school is government and my favorite teacher is Colton Schooley. 

VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life, on or off the mat?
Roberts: My parents have been the biggest influence in my life always pushing me to become better.

VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?
Roberts: I’d love to attend college and have a career that is financially stable. 

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Roberts: In my free time I enjoy playing 8-ball pool and listening to classic Rock & Roll. 

VYPE: What’s been your favorite memory as a student-athlete at Coweta?
Roberts: My favorite memory of being a Coweta High school student was making it to the dual state finals last year and celebrating with my coach, Gabe Ellis , and my teammates.
