VYPE: What has been the highlight moment of your career?
Westin: The time I ran 11.00 flat and got my first gold medal.
VYPE: Which teammate do you enjoy working against the most in practice?
Westin: The teammates I enjoy working the most with are the Duggers because we always push each other to do our best.
VYPE: Who is the least appreciated player on your team?
Westin: I think the least appreciated person in our 4x100m is Dylan Dugger. He is a really hard worker.
VYPE: What does it mean to you to represent your school and community when you play?
Westin: I love to run for my school and hear the people cheering when I win.
VYPE: Who are some of your biggest influences or role models?
Westin: My parents and grandparents, they’ve always pushed me to do my best.
VYPE: What teacher has had the biggest impact on your life? How?
Westin: I believe the Teacher who had the biggest impact on my life was Rico, he helped me with track, helped me increase my time, and made me more serious about track.
VYPE: Is there an opponent that you enjoy beating the most?
Westin: The opponent I enjoy beating the most is everyone who runs against me in the 100m dash.
VYPE: What is a routine that you do before each competition?
Westin: I am a Christian and I pray while I’m in the blocks before every race.
VYPE: What all activities are you involved with at Catoosa?
Westin: Along with track, I play football and I am a member of the National Honor Society.
