Collinsville High School’s Jennah Christian is a sophomore this season and a member of the varsity basketball team. Christian has set high goals for herself and for the team this season.

“The goal is to make the state tournament,” said Christian. “We are working hard and getting better one game at a time.”

Christian said she loves being a student-athlete at Collinsville High School and loves her teammates.

“I get to play the sport I love and that it challenges me,” said Christian. “What I love most about my team and teammates is the strong bond we have on and off the court.”

The sophomore plays guard for the Lady Cardinals, and she is a member of the volleyball and soccer teams. She’s also a member of National Honor Society. Christian said her favorite subject in school is science and her favorite teacher is Coach Clark.

Off the court, Christian is making plans for her future.

“I would like to attend college to play basketball and major in a sports related field,” said the sophomore.

When she has some free time, Christian said she enjoys spending time with friends and watching Netflix.
