Head coach – Bill Blankenship
2021: 8-3
On the defensive side of the ball, the Rams bring back a few starters that made an impact last season and will be called on to step up and fill a bigger role. Jake Adams (5-10, 175, Sr.) will be back patrolling the secondary at free safety. He racked up a total of 98 tackles last season, 37 of which were solo. At linebacker, Braeden Foster (6-1, 190, Sr.) is back after reaching 61 total tackles. Tyler Rich (6-3, 285, Jr.) will look to disrupt opposing offenses on the defensive line. He had 55 total tackles and four sacks one year ago. Along with their usual opponents, the Rams will be facing another high-powered and tough team when they take on the Bixby Spartans to open the season. This will be the first time these two teams have faced each other since 2011. The assistant coaches for Owasso include Antonio Graham, Brad Calip, Jacques Washington, Justin Morsey, Josh Dupree, Zac Simmonds, Derrick Luetjen, Ramsey Hamilton, Charles Granger, Asa Poteete, Paul Cherry, and Tim Beacham.
