Dina Marchoud – Chelsea

Softball PLAYERS TO WATCH

Dina Marchoud – Chelsea (Pictured Above)

Four year starter in softball, basketball, and track. She will likely be the team’s number one starter in the circle this season. Will bat in the middle of the lineup to maximize opportunities to drive in runs, but is the team’s fastest/ best baserunner. Solid middle infielder with an above average arm.

Hadley Calico – Oologah

She is one of two seniors on this year’s team. Hadley is the starting shortstop and lead off hitter. She has been a staple at shortstop since her freshman year, and will look to carry the Lady Mustangs this year. She has the highest returning BA on the team, and the highest fielding percentage. Hadley is also just a complete leader on and off the field.

Brookley Foster – Owasso

She started last year as a freshman at third base and was one of Owasso’s top hitters. Great kid who works her tail off to get better.

Rylee Anglen – Skiatook

Rylee is a very talented player and a great team leader. She is a great teammate and cares more about team success than individual accomplishments. Rylee has the ability to flip the switch and change the momentum of a game at any moment. She’s a great player and should have a great senior season.

Brynlie Delk – Sperry

Brynlie is a four sport athlete who works just as hard in the classroom as she does on the field. As the freshman lead-off hitter, she led the team in batting average, had 51 stolen bases, and started as center field. This year as a sophomore she will start at shortstop.

Volleyball PLAYERS TO WATCH

Macie Wayne – Catoosa

Macie has played Varsity for two years at Catoosa as MB but will be transitioning into Outside Hitter this fall playing all the way around. Look for her to be a key player in the team’s success this upcoming season.

Kenly Dixon – Oologah

Kenly is a leader in every sense of the word. She is an extremely high character kid off the court, shows phenomenal sportsmanship on the court, and is someone that her team can always count on. She was in the top two on the team in almost every stat category last season — digs, kills, serve receive efficiency and aces. She has worked hard in the off-season not only on her volleyball skills, but being an overall better athlete.

Izzy Wilson – Rejoice Christian

Starting outside hitter. Started as a Freshman last year and has made a huge jump since last season. She will be one of the top offensive players in the Pinnacle Conference the next three years.

Abby Decker – Skiatook

Abby is a great all-around player with a good attitude, work ethic, and leadership ability. She will provide consistency on the court in both her play and communication.

Football UNSUNG HEROES

Josh Martin – Chelsea

Josh is a quiet anchor to both the offensive and defensive lines. You can always count on him to be there in a crunch. He has learned multiple positions so he can help wherever needed. This has come at a cost because he hasn’t been able to focus on a single spot, but he doesn’t mind, because he is a team first guy. He sets the standard for his team in the classroom, in the weight room, on the field, and within the community.

Oscar Hammond – Collinsville

Oscar does all the little things right. He pays incredibly close attention to detail and strives to get better everyday. He is also arguably the hardest worker on the team, which is really saying something.

Aidan Trimble – Oologah

Aidan is an outstanding high school football player who is extremely intelligent and can play anywhere on the field. He is a weight room warrior who has gotten bigger and stronger during the off season and he ran track in the spring to improve his speed. He has great hands and he looks to get involved in the offense in multiple ways.

Softball UNSUNG HEROES

Zoey Sparks – Oologah

Sparks is a hard worker that does whatever is asked of her to help the team.

Addi Harmon – Owasso

Whether it is on or off the field, Addi is a great teammate that is always there for others.

Paige Castillo – Skiatook

On the field and in the classroom, Castillo works hard at whatever she does.

Brooke Angielski – Sperry

Angielski has worked hard and is looking to make an impact this season.

Volleyball UNSUNG HEROES

Kahli O’Neal – Catoosa

O’Neal is a great kid and her love of the game shows. She could have a big season for the Lady Indians.

Kelsey Moore – Rejoice Christian

Kelsey has worked hard to get where she is and that hard work will soon pay off.

Emily Avery – Skiatook

A solid teammate on the court and on the bench, Avery is an all around team player.
