VYPE: Cameron, what grade are you in at Broken Arrow High School and how long have you played golf?
Surles: I am a senior and have played golf for 12 years.
VYPE: What’s your favorite club in your bag?
Surles: The putter because that is where you score the most.
VYPE: How does the BA team look coming into the season?
Surles: We have a very young team this year but have very strong potential to have a successful season.
VYPE: What aspect of your game have you worked the hardest to improve this season?
Surles: I have been constantly working to improve my ball striking in mid to long irons.
VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at BAHS?
Surles: The bond between the team and the relationships I have made with other players from other teams outside of sports.
VYPE: What makes this group of guys fun to be around?
Surles: How we can play around and have fun, but also are serious at times to make each other better.
VYPE: Are you involved with any other clubs or groups at school?
Surles: I am in Advanced Leadership and National Honor Society.
VYPE: What are you plans after you graduate?
Surles: After graduation I will be attending Southwestern College while continuing to play golf.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite course to play and what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Surles: My favorite course is my home course Forest Ridge. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my friends and also working out.
