VYPE: Jackson, what grade are you in this year and how long have you played soccer?

Stephens: I’m in the 11th grade and I have been playing for 11 years now. I play left wing.

VYPE: How does the Sapulpa soccer team look this season?

Stephens: The team is looking the strongest it ever has, and we have done a lot to help that, but coach D has really turned this team around.

VYPE: What do you love about being a student-athlete at SHS?

Stephens: The culture and bond I’ve built with my teammates.

VYPE: Tell me about those teammates. What makes them special?

Stephens: How supportive everyone is and how close we have gotten. They are my family.

VYPE: What area of your game have you worked to improve this season?

Stephens: I have worked to improve my soccer IQ and touch.

VYPE: Do you play for a club team?
Stephens: I am apart of Tulsa Soccer Club coached by Tony Winters, and I am also in Leadership at school.

VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject or teacher in school?
Stephens: Probably U.S. History and my favorite teacher is Mr. Hendrickson.

VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?  
Stephens: I plan to attend college and getting my master’s in business and finance.

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Stephens: Well, if I have free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and cruising through Sapulpa.
