Bixby tight end Luke Hasz and defensive back Cale Fugate have both been named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association Football East All-State team.
Hasz, a University of Arkansas signee in December, finished his senior season with 38 receptions for 672 yards and 11 touchdowns. Hasz also had one TD on the ground.
Fugate, who committed to the University of Oklahoma Monday as a preferred walk-on and has an offer from Air Force, recorded 66 total tackles, five interceptions, seven pass breakups and two caused fumbles in 2022. As a receiver, Fugate led the Spartans with 680 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.
Quarterback Connor Kirby was selected to the OCA Class 6A East All-Star team. Kirby completed 73.4 percent of his passes for 1,925 yards and 30 touchdowns in his final year.
Bixby went 12-1 and captured the school’s eighth state championship in nine years, including its fifth consecutive, in 2022 under head coach Loren Montgomery.
