Three starters are back for the Tigers’ defense led by Dietrich Moore (6-1, 215, Sr.). Moore is a three-year starter and a pure athlete. His ability to close on the ball is one of the best in Class 6A. Moore gets the nod at linebacker with teammate Auzten Newell (6-2, 235, Sr.), another big and fast linebacker for the Tigers. Newell is a run plugger and will force teams to look outside. The wrecking ball up front is Demarius Reynolds (6-0, 240, Sr.) at tackle. Reynolds has a quick first step and causes problems for every team the Tigers face. The secondary features Jaylon Franklin (5-11, 170, Sr.). Taylor Griffin (5-9, 170, Sr.) and Elishah Wilson (6-1, 175, Sr.). This trio of ballers will make it difficult for anyone looking to toss the ball down the field. Donavin Hardaway is another defensive back to watch. Hardaway is young but he is ready to leave his mark on the program.
