Broken Arrow Football Preview: Offense – Presented by Midwest Sporting Goods

Head Coach – Josh Blankenship

2021: 8-4

In his second season at the helm of the Broken Arrow Tigers football program, head coach Josh Blankenship is ready to see what this team can accomplish after a good spring and excellent participation in summer workouts. With six starters back on offense the strength may be the offensive line and the run game. Jamison Mejia (6-5, 270, Sr.) everything you want in an offensive lineman who needs to lead from the front. Reid Adams (6-5, 275, Sr.) is another big reason running back Nate Jones (5-8, 180, Sr.) is eager to exploit the holes the big guys create. Last season Jones rushed for 602 yards averaging 5.9 yards per carry. Josh Willhite (6-2, 215, Sr.) is a three-year starter for the Tigers and a player to watch in both the run and passing games. Another passing game threat is wide receiver Adavion Rummans (6-1, 200, Sr.). Rummans will benefit from having a size advantage over smaller defensive backs he will face this season. Questions at quarterback remain, but whoever lands the job will have plenty of weapons to choose from on offense.
