Coach: Beau Wallace
21-22 Record: 18-7
The Broken Arrow Tigers stumbled out of the playoffs last season in the Area round. They enter this season led by Connor Dow, a 6-foot-6 Oklahoma State University commit and many other weapons. “Connor is an outstanding player but we have so much more fire power than just him,” said head coach Beau Wallace. “Our starting lineup will consist of players 6-foot-4 and above at every position. All five of our starters saw lots of minutes last year and can all shoot the ball.” Dow (6-6, Sr.) is an elite shooter from anywhere on the court. He is also a good student and an outstanding teammate. He received multiple D1 offers before he committed to OSU.
Ethan Ellison (6-6, Sr.) the ideal teammate as he always thinks team first. He plays as hard as he can every time he is on the floor. He is the one to make sure a positive attitude always happens, even in mistakes. Guard David Howell (6-5, So.) has a lot of potential as a sophomore. He plays a great game and never feels rushed, no matter what. He is an elite passer and a really good rebounder at both ends of the floor. Dason Cook (6-6, Sr.) will be the starting center for the Tigers. He will be a force down low and will be a key for Broken Arrow’s success.
Justice Sutton (6-6, Sr.) will play guard and has worked hard to improve in the offseason and that should show when he steps on the court. Lincoln Smith (6-1, Sr.) and Sam Keller (6-0, Sr.) will look to be contributors from the bench, while Diego Ochao (6-2, Jr.) will be a key player as well.
Other players to watch this season are De’Von Wallace (5-10, So.), Corbin Dow (6-2, Fr.), Anton Wallace (5-11, So.), JD Talley (6-4, So.), Jerryohn Lewis (6-1, Jr.), Alijah Harrison (6-2, Jr.), Logan Shockley (6-5, So.), Nyjah Noyes (6-2, So.), and Chris Barker (6-6, Sr.). Assistant coaches for the Tigers will be Keary King, Chris Wallace, and Trent Cantrell.
