Broken Arrow’s Jaxon Gregory talks about what baseball has taught him – Presented by Excel Therapy

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Jaxon: Baseball has taught me to be disciplined in everything I do and carry a consistent work ethic every day.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Jaxon: My favorite part about being on a team is the bond and friendships built within the team and the family that is created.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Jaxon: I am passionate about baseball because it’s something I have always strived to be the best I can be at it and it gives me a place where I can go and compete with 8 other guys with the same mindset and goals as me.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Jaxon: My favorite teacher is my leadership teacher, Mr. Drake because he comes to school every day with the goal of bettering himself and everyone around him.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Jaxon: Our center fielder in my sophomore year Alec Cinnoca has left the most significant impact on me because even though he battled injury all season he never gave up and continued to lead our team.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Jaxon: My dad inspires me because he has always been there by my side and guided me along my journey in baseball and shaped me into the person I am today.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Jaxon: I would choose to go on an exotic hunting trip in Africa and I would take my buddy josh because he’s my go-to guy and share the passion and love for hunting.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?

Jaxon: My favorite part is being able to cast a positive light on our program and school as a whole and be someone that younger guys look up to.
