Conor Taylor

Coweta High School

As baseball season heats up, players like Conor Taylor are trying to enjoy every minute on the field with their teammates. Taylor, a senior at Coweta High School, is in his final year of prep baseball and wants to end his high school career on a high note.

“What I love is the friendships and bonds I have made with all of my teammates over the years,” said Taylor.

The senior has played baseball for eight years and has set big goals for himself and the team this season.

“We are going to be really good this year, the expectations are high,” said Taylor. “I play second base and over the offseason I worked on getting faster and stronger.”

Like many teams the Tigers will compete against this season, the work that goes into a new season is significant and Taylor said there is never a dull moment with this team.

“The thing that I love most about my teammates is that they are always fun,” said Taylor.

In the classroom, Taylor said his favorite subject is zoology and his favorite teacher is Mrs. Albright. The senior said he would like to attend college and pursue a degree in nursing.

When he’s not on the field or doing schoolwork, you can usually find Taylor out with friends.
