VYPE: What are your goals for this season?
Peter: My only goal for this season is to make sure my team is the last one standing in May. We made a good run last year, and now we have the opportunity to capitalize off our momentum going into this season to finally reach the top of the mountain.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Peter: Baseball has taught me many life lessons such as leadership and accountability that I use daily to help me build character and be my best on and off the field.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Peter: I have had a lot of great teachers, but my favorite has to be my 4th grade teacher, Ms. Luker. She is kind, helpful, and her class was so fun to be in each day.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Peter: My biggest inspiration has to be my coaches. They are constantly shaping me into who I’ll be in the future.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Peter: I have been given the opportunity to play with so many great teammates that it’s difficult to single one out to say that they have left the best impression on me.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Peter: My favorite part about being on a team is the time I get to spend each day doing what I love with my teammates and coaches.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Peter: If I could pick any place to go on a summer vacation, I would have to go to New York with my family. It’s been on my bucket list forever.
VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?
Peter: I am passionate about baseball because it’s what I’ve played ever since I could walk. Whether in the backyard with friends and family, or on the field, it’ll always be my favorite.
