VYPE: What goals do you have for this year?
Kenna: My educational goal is to raise my 3.8 GPA to a 4.0 GPA. My athletic goal is to improve my batting average.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Kenna: Discipline. I have to stay disciplined to stay on top of my game and keep trying until I know I’m doing it correctly. That’s not just in softball but everything that comes with being a student athlete.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Kenna: Mrs. Gibson from my freshman year. She had high expectations and pushed me to be the best version of myself. She believes in me and knows that I’m going to make something of myself.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Kenna: My Mom. She pushes herself even when things get tough and is the epitome of a strong Indigenous woman.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Kenna: Estreyah Ramirez (Union HS), a travel ball teammate who always has the best attitude. Her effort and love for the game makes me see the good in everything and always helped me to stay positive.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Kenna: Being a leader and knowing that I can help my team whenever and at any position they need me.

VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Brynlee Good Voice Explain.
Kenna: Brynlee Good Voice, she worked very hard to get to where she’s at and has accomplished so much as a female college wrestler.

VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play?
Kenna: Volleyball.

Kenna: Well I have a whole game day playlist but my top song at the moment would be “No Mentions” by NBA Youngboy.
