Glenpool High School’s Bryce Rowland is a member of the varsity basketball team and the subject for the next edition of 9 Questions with VYPE Magazine editor Brad Heath.

VYPE: Bryce, thanks for doing this. Tell us, how do you think the basketball team is coming along since we’re a few games into the season?

Rowland: I think it’s good.

VYPE: What grade are you in this year and what position does coach Trenton Cantrell has you playing?

Rowland: I’m a sophomore this season and I play the 5-position.

VYPE: What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at GHS?

Rowland: What I enjoy most is being with friends.

VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?

Rowland: I love how they cheer me up or when I do something good and the tell me.

VYPE: Are you playing any other sports or involved in any other groups at school?

Rowland: No, just focused on basketball.

VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject? What about a favorite teacher?

Rowland: My favorite subject is History, and my favorite teacher is Mrs. Thames.

VYPE: What is the goal for the Warriors this season?

Rowland: Our goal is to make it to the state championship and win it.

VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate in 2026?

Rowland: My plan is to go to college and play basketball.

VYPE: What does Bryce Rowland like to do when he’s got some down time?

Rowland: Play basketball, hangout with friends, or play video games.
