Dyson Sanders is looking to make a big impact in a variety of ways for Glenpool in 2023.
The junior wide receiver/defensive back had four receptions in Glenpool’s season-opening
14-7 road win over Skiatook.
“I want to improve as a teammate, player and a leader,” Sanders said. We want to give it
everything we have, and leave it all on the field. No regrets.”
Sanders, who registered 60-plus tackles as a sophomore and scored his first career
touchdown as a freshman, has made strides on the offensive side of the ball and as an
overall team leader.
“Receiver route running, player knowledge and positive attitude,” he said. “I can handle my
emotions well. I’ve improved a lot on picking my teammates up mentally and physically.”
Sanders was fortunate to have his dad as his youth football coach.
“He was my youth coach, and he continues to support me and coach me at home,” he said.
He has made me who I am today.”
Following his days at Glenpool, Sanders wants to attend a college that benefits him both
academically and on the football field.
