Head Coach – Keith Riggs
2021: 12-1
The Trojans and head coach Keith Riggs are excited about what they return to the football field this season after winning back-to-back titles in 2020 and 2021. The win last season was the team’s 18th state football title in school history. “We are excited about the group we have coming back,” said coach Riggs. “Seven starters returning on offense and three on defense. We have some talented young players battling to win those open positions.” Jalyn Stanford (5-10, 185, Sr.) is back at running back for Jenks. Stanford, a VYPE Top 100 nominee, can move around the offense and give multiple looks to the defense. Jaiden Carroll (5-9, 175, Sr.) joins Stanford in the backfield. This one-two punch may be the best tandem at running back in the class. Another VYPE Top 100 player is Ty Walls (5-11, 175, Sr.). Walls, built in the image of some former great all-around players for Jenks, will start at wide receiver for the Trojans and will see time on both sides of the field. The offensive line features Milton White (6-0, 297, Sr.) and Landon Zaldivar (6-5, 291, Sr.). Both players are solid up front and will help this line develop into one of the best in the class. Another player to watch is Ike Owens. Owens is a true Trojan, willing to do whatever his team needs to be successful. Last season Owens shared time at quarterback with Shaker Reisig who has moved into the Union school district. Over the summer, Jackson Presely, son of former Jenks quarterback Brian Presely, moved into district from California. Presley (6-2, 190, Fr.) is a dual threat quarterback with offers from Arizona, North Texas, Florida State, North Carolina-Charlotte, and Texas A&M.
