Q & A with Bixby’s Kinsley Nichols Presented by Fieldhouse Apparel 

VYPE: What goals do you have for this year? 

Kinsley: My goal is to be a good example to the underclassmen. 

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life? 

Kinsley: How to deal with adversity, but still be a good teammate and person. 

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why? 

Kinsley: My favorite teacher was my 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Youngman at Broken Arrow. She pours into her students and makes you feel loved and actually cared for. I still think about how she made me feel loved and how much fun her class was. She will always be my favorite! 

VYPE: Who inspires you and why? 

Kinsley: My parents inspire me because they make me a better person everyday. They both work hard in everything that they do and that motivates me to be better. 

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team? 

Kinsley: My favorite part is the friendships that you create and keep for a lifetime. 

VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain. 

Kinsley: The best athlete in my family is my brother Blake. He plays D1 baseball and has always been good at hitting and playing from a young age. 

VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play? 

Kinsley: One sport that I wish I could play is volleyball. 

VYPE: What’s your go-to pregame song? 

Kinsley: “Chicken Fried” – Zac Brown Band.
