9 Questions with Jaxon Grigsby of Charles Page High School

VYPE: Jaxon, what grade are you in this season and what weight are you wrestling at for the Sandites? 

Grigsby: I’m a freshman this season and I am wrestling at 126-pounds. 

VYPE: What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at Charles Page High School? 

Grigsby: What I like most about being a student-athlete at CPHS are my teammates and friends that surround me. 

VYPE: How has this season been going and what was the goal coming into the year? 

Grigsby: The season has been pretty good. The goal is to qualify for state. 

VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates? 

Grigsby: I love how they push me. 

VYPE: Do you belong to any clubs at school or play any other sports? 

Grigsby: No, not at this time. 

VYPE: What is your favorite subject and teacher in school?

Grigsby: My favorite subject is science, and my favorite teacher is Mrs. Anderson. 

VYPE: When you’re not wrestling, what do you enjoy doing with your free time? 

Grigsby: I like to work out or play video games. 

VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate? 

Grigsby: I’m not sure, maybe just work, but that could change. 

VYPE: What’s been your favorite memory so far this season? 

Grigsby” Favorite memory is going to Mid-America.
