Hi, what are you looking for?

Broken Arrow

Q&A with Broken Arrow’s Grayson Childers – Presented by Inspire Dental

VYPE: What are your goals for this season?

Grayson: My goals for this season are to keep my average high, errors low and to win.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Grayson: There’s always a solution to something. When I’m in the cage hitting and my mechanics are off, then there’s usually a way to think around it and I’ve learned to apply that mindset into the real world.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Grayson: My favorite teacher would have to be Mrs. Coffey. She’s a great teacher who cares for her students and goes above and beyond for her class.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Grayson: My dad, because he played baseball in college so I wanna follow in his footsteps but also be better than he was.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Grayson: The seniors from my sophomore season left an impact on me. They taught me how to get out of my comfort zone and just have fun, to not be so serious all the time.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Grayson: My favorite part of being on a team is being able to play with teammates. It makes any long game or season more fun to play.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Grayson: If I could go anywhere then I’d prolly go to Hawaii and I would take my best friend with me.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Grayson: Baseball is a pretty hard sport so I think I just love the challenge of the game and the lessons that come with it.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Grayson: I wanna say thank you to my parents and both my grandparents for sacrificing so much for me.
