Glenpool

Q&A with Glenpool’s Kenna Good Voice – Presented by Rib Crib

VYPE: What goals do you have for this year?
Kenna: My educational goal is to raise my 3.8 GPA to a 4.0 GPA. My athletic goal is to
improve my batting average.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Kenna: Discipline. I have to stay disciplined to stay on top of my game and keep trying until
I know I’m doing it correctly. That’s not just in softball but everything that comes with
being a student athlete.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Kenna: Mrs. Gibson from my freshman year. She had high expectations and pushed me to
be the best version of myself. She believes in me and knows that I’m going to make
something of myself.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Kenna: My Mom. She pushes herself even when things get tough and is the epitome of a
strong Indigenous woman.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Kenna: Estreyah Ramirez (Union HS), a travel ball teammate who always has the best
attitude. Her effort and love for the game makes me see the good in everything and always
helped me to stay positive.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Kenna: Being a leader and knowing that I can help my team whenever and at any position
they need me.
VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Brynlee Good Voice Explain.
Kenna: Brynlee Good Voice, she worked very hard to get to where she’s at and has
accomplished so much as a female college wrestler.
VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play?
Kenna: Volleyball.
VYPE: What’s your go-to pregame song?
Kenna: Well I have a whole game day playlist but my top song at the moment would be “No
Mentions” by NBA Youngboy.
